Another Boy
May 30, 2009
In three months we are expecting our second son. The rest of us have -ah at the end of our name so I feel obligated to not name the next son something like “Luke”. It just wouldn’t be right. This narrows the options a bit but we haven’t found anything that clicks yet like it did with Jonah. Baby *ah has been kicking up a storm already. It may be the Thai food Rebekah has been cooking as of late our usual Indian cuisine.
2009 has been of to a great start. I went from 271 lbs to 229 (so far). Through a combination of getting rid of soda, basketball, swimming, and humus and toast I am a lean mean fighting machine. Work is always interesting and challenging as our company refuses to participate in the recession and keeps growing. Yesterday I hired a new assistant so I can focus more on solitaire and minesweeper once again
. Working in IT Project/Resource Management keeps me on my mind and focused…until someone mentions lunch of course.
We visited North Carolina for the holiday’s and had a wonderful time visiting my mother. She returned the favor by visiting last month when I completed my Master’s and graduated from Crown with an M.A. in Organizational Leadership. I still have a class or two to wrap up but the journey there is almost complete. I also anticipate my Project Management certification later this year as my hours have already been logged and accepted.
Summer is sweet. Nothing beats playing outdoors with my sun in the evening or sitting on my porch with my wife. We still reside at the Bethany campus. Between work, school, athletics, consulting, family, ministry and such I am generally free so stop on in for a visit!
Hope you are well and may the Lord bless you!
In Him,
Micah P. Garneau
