Jonah:

From the Book of Matthew:

Mt 12:38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you.”
39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here.

It is our prayer and our dedication of Jonah to the Lord that he also will be a sign to his generation of the One who is greater and who is now present. The Big “J” Jesus!

Paul: Named for my father who taught me so much about being a good dad. Also like Paul from the scriptures showed us that it is NEVER to late to repent of being our own god and putting our trust instead in the Lord. Paul from the scriptures murdered Christians but was considered a man of great character by the world. He said later that it was all rubish compared to the Joy of the Lord.

Garneau: Coming from the french word meaning “always right” “always french” and full of that special je nais se quas.

 Here’s my boy

One day to go….
October 19, 2006

Yea, we have been counting the days until our due date and we are almost here. We both are just hoping that the baby will arrive on or around the due date, October 21. I have heard of stories that babies have arrived a couple of weeks late. Our baby is getting bigger and bigger day after day and I am so ready to go into labor and get the baby out. Micah is very excited and so looking forward to the birth of our firstborn. He has been praying that the baby will come during his weekend. Please keep us in your prayers for an easy labor and delivery. Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!

One week to go…

IMG_01751.jpgWe just cannot wait to welcome our little one. We set up the baby room and it looks so good and ready. There is something missing….yes, the arrival of our baby. We just have one week to go until our due date. Today, we went to the Minnesota Harvest and picked apples. Rebekah has packed stuff for the baby and for our hospital stay is always ready to go. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe labor and delivery. We cannot wait to share the good news with you all.
